2017 only saw one group of drop camp hunters. They took home a solid 5×6 bull. On the last day of muzzleloader season, it was slow at another camp, so we rode over to hunt Wapiti Ridge. There were elk everywhere. The bulls were bugling and sparring, chasing cows so hard it made it difficult to get a shot lined up. There was one 7×7 bull that I estimate would have measured over 330 inches. It was probably one of the most enjoyable days I had hunting in 2017.
