Thanks to a series of mild winters, point restrictions
and good herd management, we have experienced excellent success with our elk
hunts. The 4 point antler restriction on bull elk has been in place for 15
years in our units.
 This has protected the young bulls, allowing them to
grow older and smarter. It has proven to be a great herd builder, with many
bulls each year living to be mature trophy
class animals. This coupled with the
remoteness of our area allows the dedicated hunter a real chance at
collecting a trophy bull. We offer pack-in hunts in one of Colorado's
limited license units as well as private land hunts in a guaranteed license
area. We have been experiencing greater trophy potential each year with over
half of our hunters taking bulls that were 5x6s or bigger.

We offer several different opportunities to hunt elk the
most majestic of big game animals, from guided wilderness pack-in hunts to
private land drop camps. Our specialty is hunting from remote wilderness
camps.
 Although remote, our camps are very comfortable, with nothing spared
for your complete and total satisfaction.
Many past clients refer to it as the "High County Hilton". Nothing
quite compares to the romance of traditional pack-in elk hunting. Horses
hobbled in the meadow below camp. Elk bugling in the crisp morning air.
Waking to the smell of a hardy home cooked breakfast.
We limit our camp to 6 hunters, with a client to guide ratio of 2 to 1. I
run the camp personally along with a very qualified staff. By employing
nearly as much supporting help as there are clients in camp, we provide
quality efficient service. This allows you to concentrate on bagging that

The Western slope of Colorado has by far, produced
more trophy mule deer than any other region. With many times the entrees in
the Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young record books.
 Our private land drop
camp offers the opportunity to bag one of these elusive giants. Putting mule
deer licenses on a drawing in 1999, increased our buck population
substantially. We are once again
starting to see an increased trophy potential. Archery and
Blackpowder elk hunts offer an excellent opportunity to score on a big buck.
We are know offering a trophy timberline
mule deer bow hunt. This should be a
great opportunity to harvest a Pope & Young Buck. We have left this area
undisturbed to let the bucks grow, this should prove to be a great hunt.
